The weather has been nice and Mikey got to try out the new fishing pole that Diane got him. It was Mikey's first time to go fishing and we went to a small lake here in Fort Smith. We baited his hook with a worm, thinking we might scare up a channel cat. After a short while he got his first bite and eventually landed a nice size bass! He was so excited.. he didn't want to wait to try and catch anymore... he wanted to run straight home so he could tell everyone about the one he landed! Easter morning... April 15th, 2001... Mikey is getting dressed for this morning's Easter services... smiling and showing off the front tooth he lost last night! Dad has been up since 4am when severe weather came through, but the skies have cleared and now it's a beautiful sunny Easter morning. Mikey has been enjoying many outdoor activities. Friday night he made 2 hole-in-ones playing miniature golf with Patrick, Sissy & Mister Ed! Last night it was games with Brittney & Joe, and after Easter services today, it'll be Easter egg hunts and picnicking with both families, across the river in Van Buren. Mikey has to have a heart echo done this week, but we'll put that out of mind today, and enjoy this beautiful Easter Sunday.. Thank You, Lord. While you are here, please sign Mikey's Guestbook!
